Serving the Greater Dayton area, Dayton CAN motivates and supports local organizations by providing guidance and a platform to promote community activism.
Individuals and community organizations are actively engaged in bringing about change and bringing resources to improve their community or to support the individuals they serve. Our conference will provide the tools to empower you to make change locally. Participants will hear from presenters who are currently working on the front line of change and learn practical ways of improving their organizations and communities.

Arthur Morgan Institute for Community Solutions Inc. (Community Solutions Inc.), Central State University’s Dayton Location (CSU) and Dayton CAN (DCAN) are collaborating to host the first annual community organizing conference. Each organization has a commitment to creating sustainable change in local, state, national, and international settings.
Participants will hear from experienced community organizers, engage in hands-on activities and participate in small group discussions leading to relevant action plans. Individuals, community organizations, and civic groups are encouraged to attend.
